As I reflect today on the amazing celebration of life for my Uncle John, I give thanks. I have such an awesome family, and it was such a joy to reconnect with everyone. Despite Niagra Falls in my hotel bathroom Monday night (pipe in bathroom above broke as I was drifting off to sleep early listening to my ocean guitar relaxation CD.... I kept thinking, wow, Ive never noticed how real that water SFX sounded.... and then realization sunk in! LOL) ~ I was able to sing yesterday from the choir loft at the back of the church, and have a birds eye/angelic view of one of the most beautiful funeral Masses I have ever attended. Still sinking in and processing it.... but know it was very blessed! My Aunt Irene, as I was hugging her goodbye yesterday, glowed and her eyes twinkled, and she said did you notice I walked without my walker all the way out of the church and then all the way to the graveside.... and Im not even tired.... Hes holding me up!
