As I rest tonight & seek feeling better Im reading through what can give nourishment to my heart. This passage in Luke challenges me & I hope it does you, too. Are we truly willing to give up everything for HIM? Would we really offer him all of what we have? If we fully understood who he is & how much he can & will care for us, we would. I dont want to hesitate or fear or worry when it comes to money. I wanna be like this widow who is written about as an example for giving her All... As Jesus looked up, he saw the rich putting their gifts into the temple treasury. He also saw a poor widow put in two very small copper coins. “Truly I tell you,” he said, “this poor widow has put in more than all the others. All these people gave their gifts out of their wealth; but she out of her poverty put in all she had to live on.” (Luke 21:1-4 NIV)
