As I sat here cooking the dinner for tomorrow in case my family shows up. I was reminded of a baseball game and as you notice on my earlier post. I used a baseball anology for my cooking. It took me back to my earlier years when I was three maybe five years old there in Luling Texas. Up on clay hill there used to be a womens baseball team that one of my aunties played in. She was the first baseman there and even though she was large in statue. When they threw that ball to her she could stretch out of this world and will take the other team player out. Now Im being who I am and loving God the way that I do. You know God touched my heart and gave me a scenario to reach His people. You see like my Aunt Elizabeth Williams was whenever the throw was bad she would reach out and met that throw. Somethings in your life you must reach out and grab. Too many of us are reaching out but were grabbing the wrong thing. Were grabbing friends, were grabbing Facebook, were grabbing other social media and expression ourselves through these channels. But it we would just reached out and stretch to the unchanging hands of God you will prevail. You see no matter what kind of ball Primrose or Rosemary threw her she stretched to make it happen. What are you reaching for today. JER. 33:3
