As I sat on the porch this evening with my cup of tea, trying to simultaneously give loving and pettting to 3 dogs (I am taking care of my niece and nephew dogs for a week), there were ominous looking dark clouds I was watching. A little thunder started, and I tried to reassure the dogs as they all got nervous. I saw, or I thought I saw, the mass of clouds moving toward the east and thought they might just all blow over. Then I got up and looked at the clouds pretty much right above us and was a smidge alarmed that I saw them beginning to circle. Yeah. By that time my nephew was trembling. I put them in the house and by the time I got Zorro and myself downstairs into my apartment, there were swirling winds on the ground, big gusts, and the rains began, but I just got us in before the hail. This was bigger hail than I have seen in a while, grape-sized. Now I find out we are in a tornado warning until midnight! Craziness!
