As I scroll through my time line I come across an instructional - TopicsExpress

As I scroll through my time line I come across an instructional video from a local fitness expert. Not only is the instruction itself very poorly delivered but the suggested exercises are just plain silly. It frustrates me to the core to see these things. First of all, flopping your body around in different directions does not help build muscle. It takes CONTROL and small signals sent from your brain to specific muscles (amongst other things). Second, if you are out of breath after doing a few very easy movements, maybe that says something about your fitness level and actual commitment to health. The video actually nauseated me a bit... why? Because it was SERIOUS and because people commented on it and they will go home, do these things, and likely get hurt. My point here is not to talk crap, but rather to prove a point. When you look to learn something about fitness look for education from someone who #1: Knows the body and speaks in a professional manner. #2: Looks the part... (example: how do you learn butt exercises from someone with no butt?). #3: Can complete the movement and exercises and LOOK like they know what they are doing... simple right?? Just my two cents. #walkthewalktalkthetalk
