As I sit at home on this quiet weekend I had a Milton Moment. Im finally realizing that it isnt the prettiest people or the smartest people or the richest people or even the most talented people that are the most successful. Its the people who never stop trying! That is why sometimes you see an attractive person with an ugly spouse, or a chubby guy that turned into a muscle bound hunk, or the class clown that ended up getting his PhD :) Its all is about persistence, if you set a realistic goal and do the necessary things to get there, you are setting yourself up to succeed. Its not only being at the right place at the right time or knowing the right people in the right places. Its being prepared to seize the moment when it presents itself. If you are not willing to do the work that it takes, then it may be something that you really dont want or need. So fret not my Facebook peeps, if there something that you ever wanted to do and you really want to do it bad enough, just keep trying! Because when you do, youre getting closer to what will truly make you the greatest person that you can be. And thats my slightly inebriated philosophy of life.
