As I sit at my desk still at work on NYE, I see other peoples well wishes for a safe night and a happy new year, I guess I will post my thoughts. These arent my actual words, but I read them in a book I checked out from my church library back during the summer. They have stayed in my mind ever since and now they seem appropriate to share. Thank God for the opportunity to know difficult people & to love them. God knew what He was doing by wrapping up the crazy mix He put on this earth! We wouldnt know sweet if it wasnt for the sour. We wouldnt know the answers without the questions. We wouldnt know Gods saving hand without something to be saved out of. Such is life. A parade of opposites. A jumble of trials, punctuated by moments of purest bliss. Love & conflict. Laughter & sweat & tears. I wouldnt have missed it for the world!
