This post is crazy-long but worth the read. I knew something was not right when we went to the Waterfront a couple weekends ago and even posted about it later that evening - but it was confusing because I had heard nothing but good about the walking bridge. Thanks Louisville officials for the intentional cover-up. All about lining your pockets. I wish the growth in Downtown Louisville would come to a screeching halt and the people involved in the cover-up would lose their jobs (harsh I know but what about the victims who may have been more careful and avoided being attacked if there had not been a cover-up?) Why not just deal with the problem rather than hide it? I dont entirely agree with everything in this piece by Terry Meiners, but that is fine, he is just stating his opinion and presents informative facts and is passionate about this and hopefully enough people will speak up and demand something be done. He keeps referring to males being the problem, from what I could see when I was there and from what I have heard, it is not just males creating problems, there are girls involved in this too. And not all kids who grow up without a male authority figure turn out bad. And some kids who grow up in good homes with both parents end up making bad choices. Time to put Zero-Tolerance into effect here! One more thing, I sure hope Jeffersonville official get involved and do whatever they can to stop that bridge from being opened on the Indiana side. Lets not make the same mistake over here and let greed endanger our citizens. Joe Hubbard, do you know if Jeffersonville officials are already taking any action regarding this?
