As I sit here, I think of all the good things about our small town community of VP-- People helping people, churches going above and beyond, our diverse military community, wildlife and lakes, good education system, low crime rate, etc. etc. etc....But then I think of Jameys tragedy, and am just appalled that surrounded by all this good are monstrous, heartless murderers. 96 days, the Stephens family suffered, not know where their loved one was. 96 days two girls longed for their father, 96 days parents cried and prayed for their son, 96 days siblings hoped beyond hope of a miracle. 96 days cousins kept Jameys search alive. During these 96 days, these monsters read and heard the pleas and cries for help. During these 96 days, at least one of these monsters sent well-wishes to the family. During these 96 days, they took care of their kids and lived their life as if nothing happened. During these 96 days they saw the extensive search going on to bring some closure for the family and friends, and yet these monsters did nothing. Nothing!...No one deserves to have life ended the way Jameys ended. May justice on these monsters be served. They are sick, cruel, and heartless individuals who did this or knew that it had been done and did nothing for 96 days!
