As I sit here and reflect on what was a fairly normal Sunday I am learning more than ever enjoy the little things... as many of you know I have made it a parenting motto of mine to not have any cant wait moments because those milestones moments seem to come and go in a flash! I would be lying if I told you that I have not said to myself i cant wait for this to be over which is true but I am also trying to celebrate the journey even now. Because even when this is over in God willing 6 months it will still be 6 months in my families journey and our story so today I choose to celebrate on reflect on the highs!!! Today for the first time in a very long time I was able to spend some much needed one on one time with Bailey. We went school shopping, I cant believe she starts first grade Thursday, and went for a late lunch!! It was nice to just hang out and be us again..bless her heart she wanted Mason to come but it was important for it to be the girls!!! Today Mason also continued to amaze us with his progress.. he woke up feeling good..def grateful he wasnt puking again and had a fair amount of energy. He also never complained about his tummy hurting and as a result did not take ANY medication today for pain or nauseousness- PRAISE THE LORD- praying that trend continues!!! He played with his best buddy Leith, his cousin Stone, chased Lori around, did a few puppet shows for Sheryl, and cuddled with his big sis!! Thank you Jesus for another day to smile and another day to hug and kiss my family!!! XOXO
