As I sit here getting prepared to conquer the course of the Bank of America Chicago Marathon on Sunday, I am overwhelmed by how good God has been to me. When taking a look down memory lane, it is a blessing to be where I am now and headed to run / walk and finish my 2nd full marathon. Crossing the finish line will make every sacrifice that Ive had to make this year so worth it! I am grateful for family, friends (some are really family, now), co-workers, church members and other runners for the awesome support, kind words, encouragement and prayer. I must throw a great big FB hug to my sisters in the SMBC (Saturday Morning Breakfast Club). These are some of the most incredible women and runners that I am privileged to be around. God knows just what to do to get us to step out of our comfort zone to the point of moving in Him by faith! So, as I sign off of social media until after I cross the finish line, just remember that what may seem impossible to some is a great opportunity for others to move forward to greatness. Stay blessed, happy trails, keep running, keep smiling and stay Fabulous!
