As I sit here on NYE, watching the celebration at Liberty Universitys WinterFest, where I was supposed to be at, I could be saddened on not making it due to financial things.I also find myself somewhat regretting the fact that I never went to college when younger.I missed out on that experience,especially not having the vision of youth ministry as I do from God now.However, I thank my Lord for where I am at right now.I have an amazing fiance,Sherry Shirey, I am halfway through my degree program to graduation with a Bachelors, to make an impact with youth for the Kingdom and this fallen world.Praise the Lord, because it comes to my mind that He brings us all to the places we are, and brings us through the difficulties and things we do for reasons-we would not be who we are now in Him if not for those struggles.Faith is refined in the fires of life, and we can speak/relate with people on the level they are at from those trials of our own.I praise and thank Him for my health, friends, fiance and the path He has me on in Him. I am a college student, on the way to serving Him in ministry, and though I am not all who He wants me to be as of yet, I push on and rely on Him in faith, because I am not who I was years ago, thanks to Jesus. Keep and sustain me Lord, and help me to not allow anything to deter or hinder my walk in You. happy New Year, everyone-Look up to God, for he loves us all, and He waits for your hand to reach out to Him.His love can embrace your whole life and world if you let Him.
