As I sit here staring around my almost empty house listening to music I havent listened to in over a year or so, I cant help but think of all the trials and tribulations I have gone through in the year and a half that I have lived here. So much sadness and so many sleepless nights, Id be lying if I said this house didnt almost literally kill me. But then, as I reflect about the time I have spent here, I am able to find my over optimism and positivity again. I have learned so much since I have been here, have made countless new friends all over the place, I am damn near at the finish line of my college career, have learned a new instrument, am in a blossoming badass band and have gained 3 new brothers because of that and words cannot express how grateful I am for that!! Not that Im completely out of the woods just yet, I still have a ways to go before that happens, but I am looking forward to the challenges now, not dreading waking up in the mornings anymore. I guess the point of this is be grateful for whatcha got and thankful for everyday, shit can always be worse. Now lets go pick, I got a gig to get to!!!!
