As I sit here tonight thinking about daddy for some reason I began to wonder how many miles that he actually drove when he did not feel like going. I wonder how many times that his thoughts about my needs pushed him to take that long haul that he really wasnt able to make. I tried to think of a time that I either wanted or needed something that he and mother did not provide for me. Daddy drove an 18 wheeler for 62 years, never received not one government assisted program nor did he ever ask anyone for a hand out! He had maybe a 8th grade education and he could take you anywhere in the United States that you wanted to go! So sad tonight but also so thankful that 2013 was the best year of my life with him. Through all the scares and the hospital admissions he managed to put this family in a place that is so very special! Above all he gave his heart and soul to Jesus Christ and no doubt his 76th birthday was the best one of all!! Happy birthday my sweet daddy. Your baby girl loves and misses you beyond measure!!
