As I sit in the chair watching Faith sleep, I reflect on the past - TopicsExpress

As I sit in the chair watching Faith sleep, I reflect on the past two weeks. It really has been two weeks since Faith was born, the time has seemed to fly by. My smile has almost been constant and my heart feels more alive than it ever has. Faith is a blessing to my wife and I after 5 years of marriage, and some frustrating years years trying. I could not have fathomed the intense love I have for my daughter, and it seems to increase exponentially each day. I am thankful for all of the moments this far that I have shared with her and I anxiously await each and every new moment. Whether that moment is changing a diaper, feeding her, cuddling up next to her or just watching her sleep. When she is awake her eyes glisten with brightness, searching her surroundings, taking it all in! Then there is that wonderful moment when she catches your eyes with her gaze and the look of serene peace and bliss appears on her beautiful face. I would not trade this for anything, I am blessed with a healthy, beautiful baby girl, whose name is an everyday reminder to keep the faith, for it was faith that brought her into our lives. Faith Lee Miles, your Daddy loves you more than you will ever know!! #FaithLeeMiles
