As I start my 6 hour journey back to NYC I have mixed emotions. I love to come home and visit with my friends and loved ones. I do my best to be apart of their lives, spend time with their children and families, and to just be a great friend. I never want to loose that connection with my classmates that began so many years ago. This weekend was dedicated to Scott Shimp and Kristi Tierson. It was so important to me to get everyone I knew to participate in the 5k run/walk to show Scott and my best friend Kristi that they were loved and supported. The turnout exceeded my expectations. I am so proud of all the people who participated. One thing that we all can take from this event, is to Pay it Forward. Let the love and support keep giving for the next family in need. I am so grateful for all the CS members that showed that love and support this weekend. May it continue year after year. Team Lena is a wonderful thing for Clyde Savannah and I am thankful to be apart of it. Love you all!!
