As I started to upload this particular clip, Facebook gives me the option to say something about this video... I guess the most important thing I have to say is Im proud of you Jenna Lerman. I remember puttin you on the spot in front of the whole class the day I introduced Beat Looping. I anointed you as the first student to learn and demonstrate this important DJ skill. You were so nervous! All I remember you saying was Oh God... when I asked you to come up to the main DJ station before class actually started, Oh God... when I told you what you were on the verge of learning, Oh God... when I got you on the set and threw you into the fire... But when the students arrived and I called everyone to the front of class, you put your game face on and proceeded to demonstrate Beat Looping flawlessly. Today, youve taken Beat Looping to the next level and youre executing... sequencing... your own creative #BACKSPINS! Right EFFING on Jenna. As much as what I taught you over the course of the semester intimidated you, you embraced the challenge of learning ALL that DJing is.
