As I stated in my previous posts, there was a tie for the number one position regarding destructive behavior that we engage in as Black Women, Ive already listed narcissism, and the other one is playing the victim. Victim playing- (also known as playing the victim or self-victimization) is the fabrication of victim-hood for a variety of reasons such as to justify abuse of others, to manipulate others, a coping strategy or attention seeking. Black Women are so blinded by our hypocrisy, we dont see how we contradict ourselves, we want to be seen as strong black women, but then we play the victim card. How can you be so strong but still manage to be the victim? We make it seem like we are Little Red Riding Hood, and Black Men are the Big Bad Wolf that took advantage of our innocence, as if we dont contribute or even set the stage for some of the relationships/situations we find ourselves in. Manipulators often play the victim role (poor me) by portraying themselves as victims of circumstances or someone elses behavior in order to gain pity or sympathy or to evoke compassion and thereby get something from another. Women are MASTER MANIPULATORS often taught how to manipulate BOTH men and women by our Mothers. Women manipulate the court system everyday. Women will rely on manipulation to compromise their target, take advantage of them, but if the plan goes awry, then they(we) will immediately pull out our victim card. Black Woman....please make up your mind! We cant be the heroine AND the victim! We cant be strong, the savior, Miss Independent, She got her own, I dont need a man, Say it loud, Im single and proud to why am I single! Do you see how muddled that is? And THIS is what Black Men are up against on a DAILY BASIS! No Man wants to play an armchair psychologist to his woman, especially if she isnt willing to face her self, then do the necessary WORK to correct herself. #TheAgiatator
