As I struggle to understand why I cling onto family and the idea of family; I begin to slowly understand why the more I look back on my life. I was made fun of, people only wanted to be friends with me when they didnt want to be alone or wanted to learn inappropriate sign language or didnt want to take the time to communicate with me. I turned to my family (parents, grandparents, sister, brother, aunts, uncles, cousins) to get the love and acceptance I longed for and to be around those that understood me. As we all got older, as we started our own family, I still cling to family and the idea of family because I am who I am today because of them. Hold on to your family, cherish each other because it wont be long before one passes on or family drifts apart from each other and there really isnt family there. Just you and your ideas. #mythoughts
