As I take the time to let this all sink in, I cannot say enough how excited and honored I am to be able to continue my career in the next position of circuit court judge. I cannot say thank you enough to a wonderful team of supporters and campaign volunteers and strategists who made this even remotely possible. Particularly, I thank Doyle Estes, Harry Christianson and Greg Bartron for the many sessions of strategy and many years of experience with campaigns and elections. Mostly I thank them for believing in me. I especially thank Maureen Stanley.........I just dont have the words to say how much I have appreciated her friendship over the years. We have been friends for a very long time, and when she agreed to be the campaign manager for this endeavor, I was ecstatic! Her talents, enthusiasm and hard work go unmatched. Throughout this journey, our campaign was complemented so many times regarding advertisements and signs and information saturation. None of this was possible without the help of so many, and specifically the talent and hard work of Maureen!! I will never be able to adequately thank her for all that she did, but what means the most to me about all that she did, is that she truly believes in me and what I have to offer the Seventh Circuit, and she made it known to everyone she knew, everyone she encountered, and everyone who would listen. :) Thank you, Maureen! And finally, thank you to all of our Facebook supporters!! The support on Facebook was something I just couldnt believe. Your likes and comments were the inspiration that kept us going when we were tired and overwhelmed. It is truly amazing what the power of positive words can do. We ran a good clean campaign, as did my opponent, Jane Farrell. With all of the negative Ads and campaigning that took place this election season, I am very proud of the campaign we set forth and the positive message we displayed. I commend Jane for doing the same. This has been an educational experience for me! Thank you very much for your support and thank you for your vote!!! Heidi
