As I was thinking of Thanksgiving Day and Christmas Day, it always makes me think of our Almighty Triune God [God the Father, God the Son [Jesus Christ], and God the Holy Spirit], first. But as I see the commercials for Thanksgiving Day and Christmas Day, it shows of big dinners with beautiful decorated houses with family and friends and no mention of our Almighty Triune God or even the mention of the name of Jesus Christ our Lord and Savior [God the Son]. The truth about Thanksgiving Day is about giving a personal thanks to our Almighty Triune God [God the Father, God the Son [Jesus Christ], and God the Holy Spirit]. A prayer that we pray to our Heavenly Father in the name of Jesus Christ with the counsel of the Holy Spirit to thank our Almighty Triune God. The truth about Christmas Day is about a personal celebration of the birth of Jesus Christ our Lord and Savior. Therefore, it is not about the big dinners or the beautiful decorated houses or family and friends but about our Almighty Triune God, about Jesus Christ our Lord and Savior [God the Son]! Ephesians 5:20 Giving thanks always for all things unto God [our Triune God] and the Father in the name of our Lord Jesus Christ; 1 John 5:7 For there are three that bear record in heaven, the Father, the Word [God the Son, Jesus Christ], and the Holy Ghost: AND THESE THREE ARE ONE [OUR TRIUNE GOD]. Jude 1:20 But ye, beloved, building up yourselves on your most holy faith, PRAYING IN THE HOLY GHOST, Remember not all speak in the gift of the language of tongues [for God gives different gifts], therefore many praying in their own language in the Holy Spirit. 1 Corinthians 2:13 Which things also we speak, not in the words which mans wisdom teacheth, but which the Holy Ghost teacheth; comparing spiritual things with spiritual. Think about it, when we truly give a personal thanks from our hearts to our Almighty Triune God, celebrate Jesus Christs birth, we have the Peace and Joy from our Almighty God. And because of the Peace and Joy from our Almighty God we can truly celebrate with others. Even if we are by ourselves we can still celebrate in the Peace and Joy from our Almighty God, for we know Who our Almighty God is and of how much He loves us. Philippians 4:6-7 Be careful for nothing; but in every thing by prayer and supplication with THANKSGIVING let your requests be made known unto God. 7 AND THE PEACE OF GOD, which passeth all understanding, shall keep your hearts and minds through Christ Jesus. 1 Peter 1:8 Whom having not seen [God the Father, for no one has seen God the Father], ye love; in Whom [Jesus Christ], though now ye see Him not, yet believing [trusting, faith], YE [YOU] REJOICE WITH JOY UNSPEAKABLE AND FULL OF GLORY: Anyone can say the words Thank You and I love You to our Almighty Triune God and not mean it [intentionally or unintentionally]. But when they mean it when they say Thank You, I love You to our Almighty Triune God, when it comes from the heart, there will be the Peace and Joy from our Almighty Triune God! It does not matter where we are or what we have on Thanksgiving Day or Christmas Day, for we can always say Thank You and I love You to our Almighty Triune God and celebrate with the Peace and Joy of God! For our Almighty God is always with us! Hebrews 13:5 Let your conversation be without covetousness; and be content with such things as ye have: FOR HE [JESUS CHRIST] HATH SAID, I WILL NEVER LEAVE THEE [YOU], NOR FORSAKE THEE [YOU]. Hebrews 13:8 Jesus Christ the same yesterday, and to day, and for ever. Hebrews 13:15-6 By Him [Jesus Christ] therefore let us offer the SACRIFICE OF PRAISE TO GOD CONTINUALLY, that is, the fruit of our lips GIVING THANKS TO HIS [JESUS CHRIST] NAME [plus absolutely nothing else and no other way]. 16 But to do good and to communicate [share Gods Word] forget not: FOR WITH SUCH SACRIFICES GOD IS WELL PLEASED [plus absolutely nothing else and no other way]. But, know that to give thanks to our Almighty Triune God and to celebrate Jesus Christ as our Lord and Savior, we have to have Faith in The Gospel of Grace: the death burial, and resurrection of Jesus Christ for the forgiveness of all sins which gives us salvation, redemption: 1 Corinthians 15:1-4]! For if we do not have faith, believe, trust, Jesus Christ as our Lord and Savior why do we thank Him or celebrate His birth? 1 John 4:14 And we have seen and do testify that the Father sent the Son [Jesus Christ] to be the Saviour of the world. Romans 10:14 How then shall they call on Him [Jesus Christ] in Whom they have not believed [trusted, have faith]? and how shall they believe in Him of Whom they have not heard?..... Hebrews 11:1 NOW FAITH IS THE SUBSTANCE OF THINGS HOPED FOR, THE EVIDENCE OF THINGS NOT SEEN. FAITH IS TRUSTING, BELIEVING, TAKING ALMIGHTY GOD, JESUS CHRIST, AT HIS WORD. NOTHING ADDED, NOTHING TAKEN AWAY. PLUS ABSOLUTELY NOTHING ELSE AND NO OTHER WAY. Hebrews 11:6 BUT WITHOUT FAITH IT IS IMPOSSIBLE TO PLEASE HIM [OUR ALMIGHTY GOD]: FOR HE THAT COMETH TO GOD MUST BELIEVE [HAVE FAITH] THAT HE [JESUS CHRIST] IS, AND THAT HE IS A REWARDER OF THEM THAT DILIGENTLY SEEK HIM. Romans 10:17 So then FAITH cometh by HEARING, and HEARING BY THE WORD OF GOD. Gods Word, The Gospel of Grace: 1 Corinthians 15:1-4, The Gospel of our SALVATION, REDEMPTION! 1 Corinthians 15:1-4: 1 Moreover, brethren, I [Paul] declare unto you THE GOSPEL [The Gospel of Grace] which I [Paul] preached unto you, which also ye have received [believed], and wherein ye stand [trust, FAITH]; 2 By which also ye ARE SAVED, IF [conditional by choice of Faith] YE KEEP IN MEMORY [Believe, Trust, Faith] what I [Paul] preached unto you, UNLESS YE HAVE BELIEVED IN VAIN [having no meaning or likelihood of fulfillment]. 3 [This is The Gospel of Grace] for I [Paul] delivered unto you first of all that which I received [from Jesus Christ], how that Christ died for our sins [all sins: past present, future] according to the scriptures [Gods Word]; 4 and that he was buried, and that He rose again the third day according to the scriptures [Gods Word]: Ephesians 1:7 IN WHOM [JESUS CHRIST] WE HAVE REDEMPTION THROUGH HIS [JESUS CHRISTS] BLOOD, THE FORGIVENESS OF SINS, ACCORDING TO THE RICHES OF HIS GRACE; Ephesians 2:8 FOR BY GRACE ARE YE SAVED THROUGH FAITH; AND THAT NOT OF YOURSELVES: IT IS THE GIFT OF GOD: Romans 11:6 Amplified Bible (AMP) BUT IF IT IS BY GRACE (His [Gods] unmerited favor and graciousness), IT IS NO LONGER CONDITIONED ON WORKS OR ANYTHING MEN HAVE DONE. OTHERWISE, GRACE WOULD NO LONGER BE GRACE [it would be meaningless]. Anyone can say the words Thank You and I love You to our Almighty Triune God and not mean it [intentionally or unintentionally]. 1 John 5:7 For there are three that bear record in heaven, the Father, the Word [God the Son, Jesus Christ], and the Holy Ghost: AND THESE THREE ARE ONE [OUR TRIUNE GOD]. So as we prepare for Thanksgiving Day may you choose The Peace and Joy of our Almighty Triune God to be with you, and have A VERY HAPPY, PEACEFUL, JOYFUL, THANKSGIVING DAY! 1 Peter 1:8 Whom having not seen [God the Father, for no one has seen God the Father], ye love; in Whom [Jesus Christ], though now ye see Him not, yet believing [trusting, faith], YE [YOU] REJOICE WITH JOY UNSPEAKABLE AND FULL OF GLORY: A CHOICE THAT ONLY YOU CAN MAKE AND NO ONE ELSE! Think about it!
