As I was walking in Buchanan St amongst thousands of Yes supporters yesterday, I was approached by a film Crew from CBS. They explained that their brief -unlike the disgraceful bbc- was to give a balanced view of the debate on the streets of Glasgow. The problem they had was they couldnt find any no voters to film. They asked asked me if I knew where they would have to go to find some. I suggested they may have to head to London. A short time later, a photographer from a Spanish newspaper asked me the same question. I also had a conversation with a TV film crew from Japan. I asked them what they thought of the debate. They explained they had been briefed in London to expect to find an overwhelming majority of Scots will be voting against independence. They said they are amazed at what they are experiencing, and how wrong that briefing had been. They said the UK media and the polls do not reflect what they themselves are finding during their travels in Scotland. They have the clear sense that the majority is with the Yes campaign. I thanked them for coming to Scotland and reporting the truth of whats happening here.
