As Im on the elliptical, I just felt the need to post something that came to me... Diabetes is a serious condition. I had saved Barry so many times when his blood sugar bottomed out completely. But I dont think I took it as serious as thinking he could actually die from it. Barry was stubborn. He pushed himself beyond the point he should have and he knew better. He wanted to lose that weight so would do without nutrients his body needed. He would also take insulin so he could cheat and eat bad. I knew it and didnt stop him. If you or a loved one has diabetes, please take this serious. I dont want others to lose their battle when they have seen the outcome of what has happened to a healthy, strong young man that had so much to still live for.
