As Ive already explained, this week I went to court for the appeal of Mark Sewell ( which was dismissed). It was a very professional occasion as you would expect. But it got me thinking...... The three judges took everything so seriously....explaining the sentencing ect, the complete opposite of what we found when dealing with elders and org.....the comments like cant you forgive and forget and leave it to Jehovah are so delusional and pathetic, unprofessional and undignified for victims. They really dont get the seriousness of child abuse and rape ect. They are so quick to condemn worldly people, but these worldly ones are the ones who actually DID something......mark Sewell is still a JW, still writes to brothers, still can have visits from family. His victims dont even get an apology or even explanation from the org. Just lies. Waking up to the truth has been so eye opening. I was always scared of worldly people as they are all wicked.....now Ive found most are lovely, its the ones in the truth that have caused us so many problems.
