As Mr. Modi takes oath, I wish him all the best. I have no issues with your Ganga Aarti. Nor with any demands for Somnath temple. Nor with Ganga restoration. These are a part of Indian culture. But remember that just Hindutva isnt Hindustani culture. There is also Ganga Jamuni tahzeeb, etc. Just hoping that InshaAllah, u will do enough to allay the fears of the minorities, who bucked the national trend to vote more for the Congress just because of U. Because though development for all and appeasement for none sounds okay, equating the unequals is as discriminatory as differentiating among the equals. Make the most of this mandate to bring about much needed changes. Take tough measures. Reduce subsidies or make it targeted. SCRAP RESERVATIONS on caste lines. I know its difficult to bite this bullet but u can afford to do so esp for the OBCs. Make definitive foreign policy decisions. Make movement across borders easier esp with Pakistan and Bangladesh because the truth remains that we are one people. Establish a South Asian economic bloc on the lines of the EU. Etc. etc.....
