JazakAllah (Thank you) for your time! :) Im writing to let you know that a handful of us alumni have gathered together to support the new DePaul Divest campaign, which launched last night. DePaul Divest is a coalition of students, faculty, and staff that call on DePaul University to divest from corporations that profit from Israels human rights abuses and discrimination against the Palestinian people. We have created our own alumni petition in support of this campaign (sign here: dpudivests.org/alumni-petition.html). Ideally, the goal is to reach at least 500 signatures so the petition can be presented to the Board of Trustees in a couple of weeks. We currently have 100 so far.
