As Tom Cruise will live, die and repeat over and over again this Thursday, lets have a look on time loop today^^. The theme of time loop often explored and used, below here are the top 3 in my list. 1. The Looper 2012 -Joseph and Bruce Willis are the loopers who assigned to kill their target sent from future. Starred also Emily Blunt (she will appear in Edge of Tomorrow). In the end, Joseph Levitt realised all the events are a cycle and killed himself in order to stop this time loop and thus prevent a disastrous future by Rainmaker. 2. Source Code 2011 -Watching this with dad in Dataran Pahlawan with no idea of what is it about. A French-American production about an US army who is on his mission to prevent a terrorist attack. By trapped in the time loop, he has to be killed repeatedly by the same event in order to find the identity of terrorist. 3. Vantage Point 2008 -Not really a time loop film, the scenes will always go retrospectively from the perspective of 8 individuals in the same event, (assassination of US president in a summit). Quite a creative approach in action thriller with ordinary adrenaline pumped sequences. Thats it. What are yours? share them here ;)
