As Ukraine signs an economic agreement with the EU, new statistics show a tough time ahead. German companies fear it may face a recession - and have cut back investments... A survey of 105 German companies with turnover of 20 billion euros ($27.3 billion) in Russia and 3.2 billion euros in Ukraine by the German Committee on Eastern European Economic Relations (OA) found that 60 percent doing business in Russia had been affected by the recent political tensions. Among those doing business in Ukraine, that figure rose to 87 percent... German exports to Ukraine declined 31 percent compared to the previous year - with a drop in export volume of over 500 million euros.
