As Women’s Month winds down, Mamelodi Sundows have decided to reward the Yellow Women with free access to the match between the Brazilians and Platinum Stars at Loftus. Club spokesman Kabelo Mosito called on women supporters to come dressed in their yellow outfits to give the team a warm welcome in the first home game of the season. Announcing the great news Mosito said that women needed to be rewarded and recognised during their month for the role they play in society. “Women are the pillars of our society, and have carried the burden of parenthood and societal support with honour.” “The match against Platinum Stars is a very crucial one for the team as it is our first home match of the 2013/14 season but also very important during Women’s Month is to honour women and pay respect to them for the important role they play in society” “It is fitting that the club has decided that all women, who pitch up at the stadium dressed in yellow to gain free entrance to the match. This is a small token of appreciation to women in general” Entrance for men will still cost R40 a ticket and R10 for juveniles. Tickets will be sold at the tennis court parking of the Loftus Stadium.
