As a CC breeder we always try to express and educate why this breed is NOT for everyone. Corsi are natural Guardians, which makes them suspicious of everything... for those who do not know. With all my experience, I am constantly amazed and entertained by the littlest things that will trigger Corsi Suspicion. So here is yet another Corsi Thing Although Preacher is grown he is still in puppy mode. Today, I discovered Preacher has a thing for new clothes...Lol! Didnt see that coming! But I get it. Preacher uses his nose more than any other CC I have ever known. So wth, eh Preacher? He knows it is his kid yet she smells soooo wrong! Not stranger danger mode, but he cant wrap his little unicorn brain around it. ROTFLMAO! Love it! Now on a side note: I cant express just how vital it is to socialize and expose Corsi to a brigade of positive life experiences while growing up: it can make or break a temperament. If not done right, the dogs odds of becoming a liability can become your reality. Now when I say liability- I mean a dog that has the potential to hurt someone. Dont get me wrong...I am not saying you cant have a hardcore CC, soley dedicated to ur family as we are, after all,breeding Family Guardians. But the responsibility is yours to protect your dog by NOT SETTING THEM UP FOR FAILURE- as it will be the dog that pays for ur short comings with their life should they bite someone. Know their limitations and be diligent-u are the key to their fate.
