As a Cowboys fan I take a lot of heat from people and I am sick of hearing especially how great of a quarterback Peyton Manning is and how big of a choker Tony Romo is so I have done a little research. Romo makes his 100th start of his career today in Philly so I did a comparison of the first 99 starts of Romo and Mannings career and this is what I uncovered. As far as wins and losses, Peyton posted a 56-43 record while Tony is 58-41. Advantage- Romo! Peyton completed 2,196 out of 3,485 attempts for a 63.3 completion percentage while Tony completed 2,236 out of 3,434 attempts for a 65.1 completion percentage. Advantage-Romo! In his first 99 starts Peyton tossed 176 TD passes while Romo threw 188 TD passes. Again Advantage to Romo! Peyton also tossed 111 INTs to only 91 for Tony so with 20 fewer INTs again advantage Romo. I know I am going to hear that Peyton has a ring but he did not in his first 99 starts. It took him 2 more seasons to accomplish that. I may be blind but stats dont lie. This tells me who the better QB is and his name is not Manning!
