As a FORMER (as of today) employee of True Value, mostly thanks to Scott Scheer. Here is a few views I had has an employee. John Throop, The owner is a good guy and I wish him nothing but the best. On the other hand, there is a husband/wife/daughter that all work together, these are the Scheers. On one hand Scott will say he doesnt work there any more, he says hes just help, then in the next breath he pulls a management title....kind of odd. He is nothing short of a degrading asshole, that is if your over the age of 20 and have some kind of intelligence, he seems to be intimidated. I got let go today for a few reasons, but he was the catalyst. He runs his mouth and mumbles things till he reaches your breaking point for bullshit. Bottom line is, if youre looking for employment there, just beware of Scott and Julie (Jules) Scheer. Especially if you live out in the farms. That man does nothing but talk down. about our community, just as he said today, Jupiter farms must just be lazy, this is nothing compared to Loxahatchee So this is by no way a call to arms against True Value, or its Ownership. Its just a warning about a couple of the people who work there. I have also attached a few screen shots from before Scott was fired from infinity of exactly what kind of degrading asshole he really is.
