KUBBY admits : We acknowledge that residents whose homes have been bulldozed have agreed to accept compensation. So, what is KUBBYs effing problem? He and his kult has lost but they are in denial. The people have accepted compensation and moved on with their lives, the highway has the support of 99.9% of the people in South. Thats democracy, Kubby, not delusion and denial. Get this striaght: that HIGHWAY will be built, 100% of it, and neither you, your kult, or anyone else can stop it. ------------------ 4. We acknowledge that residents whose homes have been bulldozed have agreed to accept compensation. But over the last two years the Government has deployed over two dozen evaluators, many of whom have applied coercion, threat and the dissemination of false information to encourage persons to accept compensation. These actions by the Government demonstrate scant regard and respect to the court process and the residents of Debe to Mon Desir. The rights of the people are being trampled upon. Our people have resorted to actions on the ground, diplomatic actions and lastly turned to the courts for redress. The Government’s action of bulldozing the homes in the area is a means of intimidating other residents by giving the impressions that the highway cannot be stopped. These actions can only be described as bullying and a reckless attack on the economic fortunes of our communities and our treasury. It is part of a repeated pattern of misconduct in public office. The Government must act responsibly, by using the cautionary and logical approach, and await the outcome of at least the interim conservatory order. The homes bulldozed are at the following locations: San Francique Road (1), Gopie Trace (3), Suchit Trace (1), Debe Trace Oropouche River Bank North and South (9), Debe Trace (2), Gandhi Village (2).
