As a delivery driver, I see so many distracted drivers out there every night. For instance, I see people driving those huge SUVs and they have these giant cell phones glued to their ears. If you need to use the phone, pull over to the side of the road with your hazards on to communicate to other drivers that they need to proceed with caution around you. Second, the fart can mufflers need to be outlawed. The louder the exhaust does not allow you to drive faster, it only robs your horsepower and gas mileage. Next, I see children hanging out of cars and trucks in the North Macon area all the time. That is no excuse, children should be buckled all the time inside of the vehicle. If you have those bright HID lights, please dim the lights, there is a feature on your steering column that allows you to do that. Last but not least, please slow down, you are driving a weapon that weighs over 2,000 pounds and you are not only putting yourself in danger, you are putting everyone else around your vehicle in danger. Last but not least, USE YOUR TURN SIGNALS! Auto manufacturers hire the people to install them in automobiles to ensure your safety and others around you by communicating to the person next to you and behind you that you are preparing for a left or right turn.
