As a depression era child I was hungry for knowledge from the time - TopicsExpress

As a depression era child I was hungry for knowledge from the time I was a young boy, I would frequently ask questions and ague to prove my point to my teacher in desire to find answers, so they labeled me rebellious and made me the class cap to shut me up... DO YOU KNOW WHAT WILL HAPPEN WHEN WE ALL TURN 65? Only five to 8 out of us all will make the grade! what happen to that dream, that sparkle that was there when we were a bunch of dreamers? Those who had the dream of being a medical doctor, nurse, engineer, lawyer, journalist, economist, accountant and a pilot. I know bunch of few who forfeited their dreams because they failed wassce or JAMB just for some few times and they are fed up staying home, they wanted to be free and feel what it is to be a higher institution student, following the fallacy of school life is the best. I even knew few who changed from science to art, from commercial to art, forgetting that dream they had and that goal they set. So on the long run, I understand only 5-8 of us all will be successful, only 5 will end up living their dream at the age of 65, 3 will be rich but living out of their dream, Only one, I mean one person out of us will truly be rich and known to be rich, 4% of us will be financially free, 5% will still be working at the age of 65, whilst 60% will be broke and tired. What has happen to your dreams guys, the hopes and the plans. What makes you think going for someones dream or going with someones idea will make you happy when you are 65 years old? what makes you think waiting for that your brother in UNIVERSITY to come home so that you can ask him what to study in school will change in your life? A success is anyone who is realizing a worthy predetermined ideal, dream, goals, because that what he or she decides to do...delibrately. even as at now only one out of 10 of us is doing that! The rest are failures. It doesnt matter what your dreams are, it doesnt matter what you choose to be, what matter most is doing what you wanna do and not doing what someone thinks will be good for you. Whats happening to those surgeon dreamers? Those mechanical engineers? Those who wanted to be a renowned business tycoon? Or are you still looking down on that friend who is a sales person? That friend who is now an electrician? Or that pal who is now a plumber? LETS WAIT TILL 65 AND SEE WHAT OUR DREAMS HAS MADE OUT OF US... YOU CAN STILL MAKE YOUR DREAM stop living someone elses dream...peace have a wonderful week
