As a die hard United fan I think that Mata is a great addition to the Manchester United squad. But I only think he will be a good addition if he plays in his preferred position which is CAM. This doesnt coincide with Uniteds philosophy of playing with two wide players and two strikers. So I really hope Moyes is trying to change Uniteds philosophy to a more modern formation (possibly 4-3-2-1 or 4-1-2-1-2). And Moyes has shown many signs of wanting to change Uniteds old 4-4-2 formation due to the fact that for many games recently he has played Januzaj or Kagawa in a free role behind the striker. So overall I think Mata would be a great addition to the United squad if he is played in his preferred position. This move for Mata also sends out a message to footballing world that he is ready to break the bank for top quality players. What are your thoughts on the Mata move?
