As a fellow Manic Depressive, I too have attempted suicide. I nearly succeeded once. I learned of Robin Williams battle with his depression when I was a teen, during my worse rapid cycling period of my life. I was greatly inspired by his success and ability to over come his disease. My choice to become a comic, in small part, was strengthened by the thought, If Robin Williams could make his mania work for him, I can surely use mine. I will pay my respects to my comedy hero by stepping up my comedy game. I honor you, Robin Williams, by becoming the best entertainer I can possibly be. From the bottom of my heart, thank you. You will be missed.
