As a first time endeavor in the country, Apollo Hospitals Dhaka launches “Health Check Gift” to generate health awareness in the community On Sunday 19th October 2014 at 10am in Apollo Hospitals Dhaka Auditorium, for the first time in the country, Apollo Hospitals Dhaka launched Health Check Gift for generating Health Awareness in the community. Mr. Basil, Executive Director & CEO of STS Holdings Ltd and renowned Social Activist and Environmentalist, Architect Mr. Mobasshar Hossain unveiled the Health Check Gift on the occasion. Mr. Basil explained the objective of this novel initiative as a starting point of a social movement to remain healthy and to spread the momentum to remain healthy among our nearest and dearest ones. He said, by the time, we fall sick; it is already too late most of the time. As a community conscious hospital, it is our responsibility to aware common people about the need to remain healthy. Dr. Shagufa Anwar, General Manager, Business Development of Apollo Hospitals Dhaka said this Health Check Gift is designed to bring convenience and accessibility of Health Check-up to our community with a view to inspire them to be health conscious, aware and to remain healthy. As life is a gift and we need to live it in good health, by buying a health check gift for one’s near and dear ones can be the most novel gesture one can think of. Special Guest of the program, Social Activist and Environmentalist, Architect Mr. Mobasshar Hossain, thanked Apollo Hospitals Dhaka to take such an innovative initiative and he said we all should spread out this initiative all over the country. The Health Check Gift will have validity for six months period from the date of purchase. It contains basic investigations and the gift will be available at an affordable price of BDT 4800 and can be bought from Apollo Hospital Master Health Check clinic and hospital Pharmacy and also from STS Life Care Centre Dhanmondi outlet.
