As a fiscal conservative, I am usually skeptical of plans to raise taxes on anybody. That being said, this chart should give us all reason to wonder if the consolidation of wealth in individuals is a prosperous path for society. While I am all in favor of making as much as one can, and if we accept that there is a finite amount of money in the world (perhaps not), then it makes sense that consolidation in few=less for many. This lopsided situation cannot and does not make people happier, more productive, or healthier. Solutions?
