As a former tourism officer, I cannot help thinking about the position and the person to hold it. I can think of no other Papaya resident deserving of it than Madam Joyce Cameron, the president of Joint Trusted Charity. As a public citizen, she has shown her love for making people happy through sponsoring events showcasing the talent and beauty of Papayanos. I am sorry but I cannot see any permanent employee that can do this job more effectively than Madam Joyce. The position not only calls for genuine love for our town but also for personal resources like finance and transportation. Pero ang vision ko kay Madam Joyce talaga ay magiging vice mayor sia pagdating ng araw. But this tourism officer designation just occured to me this morning. Pwede naman siyang idesignate in a casual position. I pray that this wish be granted.
