As a human, I choose to speak out against injustice. As an educated person, I choose to spread knowledge. For if I dont speak out against crimes against humanity..one day no one will speak out for me if in a similar plight. This message is for all those educated/active young souls that are no strangers to social media...that post pictures of their dinners and daily routine yet shut an eye to atrocities against a whole population of people. Although Islam teaches me to stand up against injustice, to share knowledge..today I speak as a human, not as a fellow Muslim. What is happening in Gaza is nothing less than apartheid and most definitely meets the definition of crimes against humanity. Just as does this brave journalist, you have the power to spread the word and make the world aware of Israels bombing campaign. Stand up for the oppressed!
