As a journalist who believes in empowering the downtrodden in the villages, slums, etc., I was today appalled by the state of affairs in our medical facilities in Kakamega. Honestly our people are dying like flies~not because of AIDS, CANCERS, TB..No! But MALARIA, TYPHOID, DIARRHOEA, ROAD ACCIDENTS INJURIES, MINOR CHILDBIRTH COMPLICATIONS..Yaani hakuna madawa ya kawaida tu kama AL, BRUFEN, PANADOL, SEPTRIN, PIRITON, ORS na essential items like GLOVES, COTTON WOOL, SCALPELS..! The situation has bn bad YES, bad it has WORSENED.Ive raised this issue with the County Government
