As a little person who can’t hide my difference, I’ve been determined to help change the social stigmas placed upon all people with physical differences. I choose to embrace my difference and I want the rest of world to follow my lead. No question is offensive to me. I’m so appreciative when people ask questions instead of making assumptions. Individuals with physical differences don’t want people to feel bad for them; they just want an equal chance to participate as active members of society. Becky Curran is on a mission to educate people about physical disabilities; she also encourages those who have them to achieve their goals. We would love to hear her speak.
