As a massage therapist/structural integrator Im constantly asked whats the best exercise to do to fix that!?!? Usually in response to me trying to explain the relationships between the pain they experience and the compensations and postural patterns that, I believe, are contributing to it. Basically, yeah I can beat up those upper traps, rhomboids and erectors every week and you will feel better for a day but if we can find ways to change the movement pattern and bring AWARENESS to your daily movements (or lack of) then you may actually create change that can last! Then I suggest trainers I know that do FMS and correctives or a good Pilates teacher and even some good Yoga teachers that can help. I have a couple of simple movements I demonstrate and ask them to do, they even feel the difference when they do them, they do them maybe once...sigh
