As a musician/producer Im always trying to outdo the previous project. I guess its the perfectionist in me. Sometimes its not so easy to do and although you may think that youve done the job, the reviews/comments may not agree. With the new Sweet & Lynch album Only To Rise, I feel that George, Brian, James and I have outdone ourselves. I listen to the album as a whole and I personally think that its better than what we have done in the past. If this album was released 30 years ago it would go multi platinum. I know thats saying a lot! I dont say this to offend Stryper, Dokken, White Lion or Foreigner (our current and former bands) but I say this to publicly humbly acknowledge my thoughts on this masterpiece. Although George and I were 3000 miles apart when we made this album, it could not have turned out better in my opinion. No More Hell To Pay is Strypers greatest achievement (my opinion) and Only To Rise may surpass it (again, my opinion). I thank you all for continuing to give me the opportunity to write, produce and record album after album and I look forward to many more!
