As a parent we trust so many people with the health, happiness, and wellbeing of our children! From school bus drivers, principals, teachers, coaches, child care assistants, cafeteria workers, even janitors! I know these people hear complaints and bickering from children all day long but if its bothering a child enough to come to you at least take a minute to acknowledge the problem! Praise and encouragement go a lot further then berating and belittling! You have no idea what a child may be dealing with at home!! It may be just another complaint to you but for them it could be the straw that broke the camels back! And God knows not everyone is equipped to work with children and this if fine, just please do Americas future a favor and select another career path! Ok.. I am done! Oh.. And hats off to some of my favorite teachers: Ms Barbara Mayo, Ms Sue Nolan, Mrs Paula Cobb and the Summers Brothers! :)
