As a photographer I feel this touchy issue of Price and quality - TopicsExpress

As a photographer I feel this touchy issue of Price and quality should be briefly touched upon. I have seen a fair amount of posts lately how some people are looking for a GOOD and (not or ) reasonably priced photographer. Those two words do not normally go together in the photography world. Most photographers limit your time on session and when you get back to see the session they only allow you to have a limited number of poses. Both things I do not do because I believe that if youre paying, you should receive all the time and pictures you paid for. I charge for almost all my sessions, while there are some I do not charge for, this does not mean I will give you a session for free if you ask nicely, sorry. I dont charge because I am still building a portfolio. My prices are normal and my wedding package is the most reasonable in town, I would bet my right foot on it with all that it includes. It is very VERY , like unicorn rare to get quality pictures at a reasonable price. I am not a professional, (I am working on it ) but at the same time I do not put out poor quality pictures. I work with a professional camera and editing system. I work closely with a professional to fine tune and always keep up to date on photography skills and know-how to be able to provide the best pictures and experience for you the client. Im working everyday to become as professional as possible for you, my clients. I do take into account my clients first and foremost, especially their budgets! I am flexible and I like to think I am reasonable on my prices, a fair amount of you also know that I am very open to payment plans as well :) What I am trying to say is I try to put out quality pictures, as far as reasonability, thats up to the clients definition of that. I do offer what a lot of other photographers do not, no time limits and all of your edited pictures on a cd. That being said, be fair warned that just because a session is cheap, does not mean you will be happy with the end result. Always look at the photographers body of work and if their clients are happy, I have a list that would be happy to speak on my behalf of how much they enjoy my work :)
