As a physician, I see firsthand the horrors and injustice of healthcare through my vegan lens. The system is a dark and twisted abyss, turning a profit off of disease and misinformation. Most of what I treat is a direct result of eating and exploiting animals. Procedures and medicinal regimens have been formulated by inducing then treating disease on unwilling, nonhuman participants. It is pure madness! I often feel naked, standing alone in a spotlight. I speak the truth. I can inspire and engage, and I am also the subject of ridicule and judgement. But I will never be silent.
