As a self confessed Aviation fanatic – I spent most of my week obsessing over all of this! I get about as excited by the Red Arrows as most teenage girl’s get about ‘One Direction’! The Bournemouth Air Festival this year was an absolute spectacle featuring displays by the Red Arrows, sporting their brand new tail fin designs, the Bladez, ‘Miss Demeanor’ the privately owned Hawker Hunter, an insane RAF Eurofighter Typhoon Jet, the Battle of Britain Memorial featuring a Spitfire, a Hurricane and a Lancaster, and the absolute beast of a machine that is the legendary Avro Vulcan – the last of it’s kind that is still flying today. So, I got out some long lenses, headed for a few hotspots including Bournemouth Airport, Bournemouth Coastline and our front garden (!!) and took some pics. Here are some of my faves:
