As a single parent for whatever reason the situation, you develop a lioness type promo dial protective instinct around your children. I could truly understand how this young mother flipped and went temporarily out of control; insane if you like. It was not wise to have set up that meeting without the resolve process having been underway and counselling support been received by mother. That would have been more appropriate at the end of a process of investigation and justice. No risk analysis was done. Vigilantism breaks out when perception or actuality of injustice is not done or seen to be done. This mother need help and support and I hope and pray that she gets off like the racist jury did for the Trayvon Martin killer! I would not recommend this response as a rational one. In the end the mother or carer as protector ends up in lock up and the child the revenge attack was meant to avenge ends up without the protector. AS you cannot even rely on relatives not to use knowledge to further abuse the child or children. So there needs to be reflection and restraint and assisted rechanelling of the raw anger into some campaigning or some community support group initiative.
